Nigerian-born Hollywood star Michael Adegoke is a Five-Time United States Professional Regional Showdance Champion and a Fifth Place World Showdance Finalist under the National Dance Council of America (NDCA). He is a rising actor, presenter, and a show host for many prestigious awards and events in Hollywood and Africa.

In 2009, Michael became a household name in Nigeria after appearing on the cover of the country’s popular newspaper titled, ‘The Guardian’ with over fifteen million readers. A year later, Michael became a professional dance judge on two multi-national dance shows in Nigeria;  Maltina Dance All (A Nigerian version of So You Think You Can Dance) for three consecutive years and also on Celebrity Takes Two (A Nigerian version of Dancing with the Stars) seen by over 20 million viewers on five major networks.

In 2014, Michael Adegoke hosted the 4th Annual African Oscar Awards with co-host Actor Lester Speight from the Transformers Dark of the Moon (Michael Bay) and Norbit (Eddie Murphy) movies. During the event which, was attended by many world-renowned honorees, such as Sir Louis Gossett Jr., Blair Underwood, His Royal Majesty the Ooni of Ife (Representatives), Keith David, Glynn Turman, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs and Garcelle Beauvais, Mr. Adegoke was awarded the 2014 Image and Humanitarian Award by Actor Patrick Kilpatrick awarded for all his good works in Africa and around the world. In 2015, Mr. Adegoke co-hosted the same show with Claudia Jordan from The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Mr. Adegoke has been featured on more than 20 television networks, such as CNN iReport, ABC’s Castle, Investigation Discovery TV documentary Maneater, Minnesota KARE 11 Today, Michael Waltrip’s Fast Track To Fame (FOX Sports Speed Channel), MNET Africa, MPR News, NTA Live TV, MCN6 Network, KTCA-TV, The Strip View Las Vegas TV, Africa Magic TV, Silverbird TV, and on VH1 Hollywood Exes. In addition, Mr. Adegoke is currently acting now in Hollywood and has been featured in movies, such as The Active Shooter, directed by Actor Patrick Kilpatrick, The Unbreakable Sword (starring Eric Roberts), Tragedy of a Mother and Son (produced by Robert Amico), and Only You and Me (by Peter Monger).

Over a two-decade-long career, Michael Adegoke has collaborated and shared stages with megastars like Prince (New Power Generation - Paisley Park), American Singer/Songwriter Akon (RCE tour), Skip Martin from Kool & The Gang (VOICES), former NFL football player Esera Tuaolo (ET CD Release) and in over 120 shows with Super Star Lani Misalucha (VOICES Las Vegas).

For more than 12 years, Michael Adegoke modeled and graced many prestigious runway shows for top names like Aveda, Vandalism Designs, Sean Doyle, and Eugene Nichols Model & Talent Agency.

In 2001, Adegoke founded the Twin Cities Salsa Dance Fiesta dance establishment which, holds over two-thousand salsa dance members in Minnesota. He continued its development for over five years.  In 2005 and 2006, Adegoke created, directed, and hosted the two biggest Salsa Dance Championships in the Midwest (Minnesota, Chicago, Iowa, and Wisconsin) with over 2,500 in attendance.

In 2017, Mr. Adegoke co-founded The Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards which, features and present awards to Kings, Presidents, Governor, Mayors, Celebrities, Artist etc.

Today, Michael is involved in humanitarian efforts that continue to transform the lives of many abandoned, HIV-affected, and underprivileged children across Africa through his foundation, Mending Broken Children of the World (www.mbcw.org). The organization is currently serving children in Nigeria, Uganda, Namibia, and Kenya.

Michael Adegoke has a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications / Computer Science and he’s currently working on his Master’s degree in Software Engineering.
